Aaron Rodgers insists mystery wife is real: ‘I just really love her’

There have been suspicions that NFL player Aaron Rodgers’ mystery wife doesn’t actually exist ever since he said in June that he had secretly married a woman he won’t name in order to respect her privacy.

However, according to The Sun, the new quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday at training camp described how his wife, who is said to be named Brittani (with an I), is real and has improved his life.

According to 41-year-old Rodgers, “your entire world changes in a second when you meet and are with the right one.”

“And there’s no better feeling in the world to have that person who loves you unconditionally behind the scenes,” the four-time NFL MVP and former longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback concluded.

Rodgers continued, “I have the most amazing wife.” I really adore her, and I am so grateful that she was there for me in the end.

“You feel like you can do anything at the house when you have that stability and that rock behind you,” Rodgers said.

In order to maintain stability and be the rock at home, Brittani doesn’t seem to be well-known in her own right and might not even have a difficult career. It’s common knowledge that Rodgers’ previous three relationships were with well-known, successful women. At least two of the romances ended in public resentment after failing.

The contentious, Chico-raised quarterback dated actress Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017, actor Shailene Woodley, with whom he was engaged in 2020 and 2022, and retired NASCAR racer Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020. Both Patrick and Woodley have spoken up in recent months about how toxic and emotionally abusive their relationships with Rodgers were.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in late 2024, Rodgers initially disclosed that he had a new girlfriend. While talking about his Christmas shopping habits, Rodgers, who was still contracted with the New York Jets at the time, casually revealed the news about Brittani. When the gift he got for Brittani online arrived late, he acknowledged that he had some holiday stress.

According to a People magazine article at the time, host McAfee seemed surprised by the revelation. McAfee’s co-host and former Green Bay Packers teammate of Rodgers, A.J. Hawk, made a lighthearted question: Spears?

“This is Brittani with an i, not Brittany Spears,” Rodgers explained.

According to The Sun, Rodgers recently defended his marriage on McAfee’s show, refuting conspiracy beliefs that he doesn’t have a wife.

Isn’t this a sick society? “Oh,” Rodgers said. I had interactions with the public and lived in the spotlight for twenty years.

What was the outcome of that? Rodgers inquired. I had people calling the paparazzi, sharing details about my personal life online, and fabricating things about my family life.

“I’m currently with a private individual who doesn’t want to be in the spotlight, didn’t sign up to be in the spotlight, and doesn’t want to be a celebrity,” Rodgers added. Additionally, I am strange and the paparazzi are following me since I prefer to keep my personal life secret.
