Country star once signed fan’s fake leg at concert: ‘That was kind of fun’

Like many other superstars, Lee Brice has encountered odd fans on occasion.

Nonetheless, there was one incident in recent years that the country music sensation finds particularly noteworthy.

Brice told MassLive, “People always ask [for] maybe strange things or maybe they have a sign or something that’s kind of different.” On stage, I did have a guy remove his leg, give it to me, and ask me to sign it. Since it’s a prosthetic limb, that was enjoyable.

Although Brice was unable to recall the precise show where it occurred, the scene was documented in an Instagram photo from April 20, 2023. The musician was performing all throughout Canada at the time, some of which were as part of the Beer Drinking Opportunity Tour.

As a prelude to his What You Know About Tour, Brice is currently performing in a number of cities, including three in Massachusetts.

Beginning on September 11 in Clearwater, Florida, the tour follows the release of Brice’s most recent singles, Cry and Said No Country Boy Ever, earlier in 2025.

The What You Know About Tour is now selling tickets. Below is a complete list of shows:

Since making his debut in 2010, Brice, a 46-year-old recording artist who has sold multiple platinum albums, has produced five studio albums.

Hard To Love, Memory I Don’t Mess With, I Hope You’re Happy Now, Rumor, I Don’t Dance, I Drive Your Truck, A Woman Like You, and One Of Them Girls are among the eight No. 1 singles that the South Carolina native has achieved on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The latter song even made it into the top 20 on the 2020 Billboard Hot 100. In addition to winning CMA and ACM awards, Brice is a Grammy Award nominee.
