As the Patriots prepare to play the Vikings in a preseason game on Saturday afternoon, wide receiver Stefon Diggs is not wearing his uniform.
According to Dan Roche of WBZ, Diggs is sweating 30 minutes before kickoff. Diggs joined the Vikings at the start of his NFL career.

Despite having surgery to repair a torn ACL sustained in late October, the veteran wide receiver was able to start training camp without being placed on the PUP list. When Dianna Russini of The Athletic asked Diggs on her Scoop City show this week if he would be ready for Week 1, it made headlines. In answer, Diggs was reticent and stated that he wasn’t positive.
Head coach Mike Vrabel stated on Thursday that he had been out here virtually every day. He’s going to practice today, but I’m excited with where he is and we’ll see when Week 1 arrives. We can’t forecast the future for Week 1, but hopefully he will aid us in the red zone. He works hard and cares, which are two crucial things, and I just know he will be out there today.
According to Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston, Patriots right tackle Morgan Moses will not play on Saturday either. Prior to Week 1, the Patriots have been keeping an eye on Moses’ workload.
