After learning that a child could choke and die from one of its toys, Sheinis recalled it.
According to a report by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the firm is recalling roughly 260 units of its $3 three-tiered children’s tower toys that were sold on Shein’s website in May. STWUQIKONG sold the toys on the Shein website.
According to the commission, the recalled toys pose a fatal choking hazard because they are designed for children under three and include small balls, which is against the small ball ban.
The item features a basketball hoop with a character’s face at the top, along with three different levels. Three yellow balls were included with the toy, which is roughly 10 inches high and 4 inches broad.
Although there have been no recorded accidents or injuries, the CPSC advised consumers to contact STWUQIKONG for a complete refund and remove the toy from children right away.
Consumers will be advised to discard the item and email a picture of the toy to [email protected].
