Rochester, New York.From Saturday evening into Sunday, thunderstorms are predicted to affect portions of New York, with the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario regions having the best chance.

Over the weekend, drivers and outdoor planners should be ready for possible rain and windy storms.

Late Saturday night, showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to form between the Finger Lakes and north-central New York, according to Buffalo’s National Weather Service.

There is an 80% probability of rain in places like Watertown and Pulaski. On Sunday, the precipitation will move eastward and persist into the morning before reoccurring isolated storms in the afternoon.
