Battenfeld: Massachusetts Dems out of touch with Trump derangement fever

Published On:

Democrats in Massachusetts are so out of touch and infected with Trump derangement that they are supporting gang members who are illegal immigrants and Iran.

Some congressmen are wondering whether Iran posed a nuclear danger because President Trump ordered the U.S. missile strikes against three Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

Even Democrats, such as Sen. John Fetterman and former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, thought the claim was absurd and supported Trump’s option, arguing that the United States had no choice but to fight and defend Israel.

Fetterman stated, “I actually support the strike in Iran, but there will be a lot of people in my party who disagree with it.” That’s what I’ve always been requesting. It was perfectly appropriate, in my opinion.

Fetterman added that Democrats who believed the president’s move was unlawful and should be impeached disagreed with him.

“It’s like maybe, reflexively, you have to be opposed to that just because sometimes it’s a decision that President Trump made,” Fetterman said Fox News. Once more, I have consistently advocated for the destruction of these nuclear sites.

Barack Obama’s defense secretary, Leon Panetta, stated that the United States has no choice except to attack Iran.

Panetta stated, “I believe we have been very clear that the United States was not going to allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon.” I believe that an attempt at negotiation was made. In the end, Iran was prepared to stop at nothing to prevent their enrichment or bomb capacity and had no interest in engaging in negotiations. I believe that the United States had no choice but to launch this kind of strike.

Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state, is one of the Democrats who has taken a firm stance against Iran.

Clinton stated in a 2008 debate that we could completely destroy Iran if they launched a nuclear attack on Israel.

She also stunned several Democrats by taking a tough stance on Iran in a 2015 speech.

She declared, “As president, I will do whatever it takes to safeguard the United States and our allies.” If Iran tries to get a nuclear weapon, I will not think twice about using force.

The decision to attack Iran was also applauded by a number of well-known Trump detractors.

According to former National Security Adviser John Bolton, it was the proper thing to do and a decisive move. For a long time, I believed that someone ought to do it. However, it’s better late than never.

The bombing and missile strikes on three Iranian nuclear installations may be a turning point for Trump, whose approval ratings had been declining due to domestic unrest before Tuesday.

Adam Kinzinger, a former Republican representative who spoke to the Democrats at their convention, said the U.S. attacks were the appropriate thing to do.

However, a number of well-known Democrats from Massachusetts strongly disagreed, with U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey arguing that the assaults were unlawful since Trump lacked congressional authority.

The American people are opposed to another protracted conflict in the Middle East. Markey demanded that Trump start ceasefire negotiations with Israel and Iran, arguing that Trump’s illegal acts increase the potential of escalation into a larger regional war with serious hazards for American troops, personnel, and citizens in the region.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley stated that this is a constitutional breach that puts innocent lives at danger. Congress needs to take immediate action to control Trump.

Pressley and others are even refusing to name Trump president, and they will undoubtedly begin the process of impeachment right away. Democrats have even gone so far as to question if Iran is attempting to develop nuclear weapons.

U.S. Representative Katherine Clarks declared that Donald Trump’s unilateral decision to attack Iran was unlawful and illegal.

Ignore the fact that Iran poses a serious threat to the United States, represses women’s and homosexual rights, and treats dissenters like criminals.

By now standing up for Iran, what message is it sending to the world?
