The 2025 US Open’s first round will begin on Sunday, August 24, and run through Tuesday, August 26 at the USTA National Tennis Center in New York, now that the Mixed Doubles tournament and qualifying rounds are over.
Starting at 11 a.m. EDT on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, the first round action will be televised on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ every day. ABC will provide extra coverage on Sunday starting at noon EDT, and ESPN will also provide coverage on Monday and Tuesday. Men’s No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 3 Alexander Zverev compete on Tuesday, August 26, the last day of the first round, while No. 2 Iga Swiatek, No. 3 Coco Gauff, and No. 23 Naomi Osaka compete in the women’s tournament.
