SAN DIEGO (AP) Since Lilo & Stitch became the 2025 blockbuster success, a few things have changed for the cast members.

It meant no more Doritos for 8-year-old sensation Maia Kealoha, who has discovered that she must have clean teeth, particularly when doing interviews.

Sydney Agudong, Tia Carrere, and Kealoha have been doing a lot of those, including promoting the film’s digital release and making a victory lap with Lilo & Stitch at Comic-Con 2025.

Another modification? With a broad smile, Kealoha claims to have been recognized 5,000 times in stores.

According to Agudong, the film is a tribute to Hawaii, and it’s been amazing to observe how well-received it is around the globe and the lasting influence Lilo & Stitch has had as a timeless tale.

She claims that despite premieres and hectic interviews, she still gets to go to the beach and enjoy herself, and she adds she has been lucky to celebrate the movie’s success with her loved ones.

With over $1 billion in revenue, the movie is the biggest blockbuster of 2025, and Kealoha and Agudong are its breakout stars.

“We are ecstatic that our little blue friend Stitch has become a billionaire,” Carrere exclaims.

Regarding a follow-up, Agudong claims that the three are experiencing hana hou, which is Hawaiian for “doing something again.”

Naturally, we are unable to verify or refute the existence of any such project in this or any other universe. Apologies! Carrere noted with a smile.
