Mass. native is No. 2 highest rated guard in Madden rankings

EA Sports has revealed the player rankings for the well-known video game Madden 26set, which is scheduled to be published next week.

Additionally, a native of Massachusetts was given a high ranking.

Chris Lindstrom, a guard with the Atlanta Falcons, was placed second overall with a rating of 94. He trailed fellow Falcons guard Jesse Bates III by one point.

In Week 2 of 2024, against the Philadelphia Eagles, Lindstrom allowed just one sack.

Although the Falcons haven’t given much attention to the Dudley native, his ability to shield the passer has been crucial to Atlanta’s offensive output.

Furthermore, Lindstrom received the distinction of being chosen by The Associated Press as the league’s best inside offensive lineman.

The top five guards and centers were chosen by a panel of eight AP Pro Football Writers based on their current standing going into the 2025 campaign. Ten points were awarded for first place. Five, three, two, and one points were awarded for votes in second through fifth place.

Lindstrom defeated Joe Thuney for the top slot with three first-place votes, two seconds, and one third. After being traded from Kansas City to Chicago this offseason, Thuney finished second with two first-place votes, one second, three thirds, and one fourth.

Since 2020, the 28-year-old has been a reliable member of the Falcons.
