The news was revealed Thursday by the 27-year-old only daughter of the King of Pop, who refuted a Daily Mail rumor that recent pictures of her crying were taken on the anniversary of Jackson’s 2009 passing.
In reaction to the outlet, the bandaid vocalist tweeted, “Those are breakup tears.” Everyone is fkn reaching once more.
Though the comments come just over a month after she told Access Hollywood that she and Long—not to be mistaken with the Barbarian and Dodgeball star of the same name—had already chosen a location for their wedding, Paris Jackson did not go into any detail regarding the reason or date of the breakup.

Early in December, Jackson revealed the engagement in a since-deleted birthday ode to Long. A picture of him on one knee was included in the Instagram carousel.
According to reports, the ex-couple’s unfathomable whirlwind romance began in 2022.
A little more than a week after sharing the good news with the world, Jackson celebrated another milestone in early January: she had been drug and alcohol-free for five years.
