When the seasoned wide receiver was graduating from the University of Maryland in 2015, Diggs initially caught Williams’ attention. Diggs’ highlight reel drew Williams’ attention, and he continued to watch it daily.

“Now, take a look at who we are today,” Williams remarked.

Williams was just 12 years old at the time and was born in Baltimore but raised in Inglewood, California.

“He was simply different,” Williams remarked. You see, he was cunning. I mean, I was drawn to him because there was something about him that just caught my attention.

Williams claimed that by telling Diggs that he was his favorite wide receiver as a child, he hasn’t attempted to make him feel old.

“I got him once he’s retired,” Williams stated.

The age difference between Diggs, 31, and Williams, 22, is nine years. On Saturday, the Patriots’ first team offense featured both wide receivers sharing snaps.
