Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series to end in Boston as athletes face final battleground

In September, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will make a triumphant return to Boston.

According to Red Bull, the event will feature the crowning of both men’s and women’s champions and the first-ever women’s final in the United States since the divisions’ inception in 2014.

The competition will begin on Friday, September 19 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at which time athletes will participate in two diving rounds before being interviewed. The 2025 World Series champions will be crowned and the third diving round will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Since 2011, the Red Bull competition has been held in Boston six times, including the historic 100th stop in 2024, which attracted tens of thousands of spectators.

Every dive will determine who wins the prized King Kahekili Trophy, which is returning to the United States for the first time since the 2010 finals in Hawaii, the sport’s birthplace. This year, however, the city will change from a season opening to the last fight.
