Red Sox lineups: Going for a 4-game sweep of the Yankees

Dustin May will play his first game against the Yankees, and the Red Sox will have to contend with Carlos Rodn, a left-hander.

However, May has previously pitched against a number of current Yankees:

Since the Red Sox acquired him from the Dodgers at the trade deadline, May has made three starts (15.2 innings), given up five earned runs (2.87 ERA), walked four, and struck out 17 batters. In his last two appearances, a scoreless masterpiece in Houston and a two-run loss to the Orioles at Fenway on August 18, he pitched six innings each.

For the Yankees, Rodn is enjoying a tremendous season. He had a 3.24 ERA going into Sunday after making 26 starts and striking out 169 batters in 152.2 innings. He gave up nine runs (eight earned) on 10 hits, including two home runs, while striking out nine batters in two starts against the Red Sox on June 8 and June 14. He also walked five and hit two batters.
