Red Sox lineups: Searching for consistency as June becomes July

Published On:

The Red Sox start over in July and look to find more consistency than they did in a 14-12 June after ending the month of June with a 13-6 series-opener triumph over the visiting Cincinnati Reds.

Boston has a season-high six-game losing skid (June 21–27) and is 3–7 in their last ten games. The Red Sox have suffered greatly from inconsistent offensive output; in five of their last ten games, all of which were losses, they have scored no more than three runs. Two of their three victories during this time were landslides: their series opener against the Reds on Monday night and their 15-1 thumping of the Blue Jays on Saturday.
