Published On:

Road Runner Sports has agreed to a settlement in a class action lawsuit related to misleading automatic renewal disclosures. The lawsuit claims that the company violated California law regarding its automatic renewal policies for VIP Rewards Memberships.

Here’s what you need to know about the settlement, eligibility, and how you can benefit if you qualify.

Who is Eligible for the Settlement?

What Were the Allegations?

The lawsuit alleged that Road Runner Sports did not provide clear and conspicuous disclosures about the cost of renewing VIP memberships and failed to offer an easy way for consumers to cancel their memberships.

The company, which sells athletic shoes, has not admitted to any wrongdoing but agreed to settle the claims without further litigation.
