Rob Gronkowski returns to Gillette Stadium for guest appearance at Morgan Wallen concert

For his two evenings at Gillette Stadium, Morgan Wallen didn’t have to search far for his walk-out guests.

Before bringing in Super Bowl-winning tight end Rob Gronkowski for Wallen’s farewell performance in Foxborough, the country singer strolled with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabelon on Friday.

Gronkowski wore a Patriots jersey with the number 617 printed across the front. He also gave Wallen an inflatable guitar with a Patriots theme, which he grabbed like a footall as he jogged down the tunnel.

To a round of applause, he spiked the guitar in typical Gronk fashion.

To commemorate the launch of Gronk Playground on the Esplanade, Gronkowski traveled to Boston last week. In order to retire a Patriot, he hinted at signing a one-day deal with New England.

Return for a day, a weekend, or whatever. Gronkowski told reporters, “We’ll make it happen, and it’s going to be a really, really cool moment.” It will take place. Simply put, we have no idea when.
