Fans and companies looking to capitalize on what has turned into a massive economic tailwind are aware of Taylor Swift’s impending album release and her passion for all things orange.

Major corporations went into overdrive with their marketing when Swift announced the impending release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on the New Heights podcast, which was co-hosted by her boyfriend and NFL football star Travis Kelce, on Wednesday.

Swift’s capacity to create attention and attract money is the cause.

Swift’s tours have turned quite profitable occasions. According to Pollstar’s 2023 year-end charts, the singer’s Eras Tour two years ago was the first tour of its kind to surpass the billion-dollar milestone. Following Swift’s performance, cities and the surrounding areas saw a significant increase in economic activity as thousands of fans traveled there and spent money at hotels, restaurants, and other establishments.

Businesses aren’t waiting to take advantage of Swift’s popularity, and huge brands started making orange-themed jokes almost immediately.

This is because Swift talked about her emotions about the hue on the Wednesday podcast and made multiple onstage appearances wearing orange during the end of her Eras Tour.

Soon after the release of the new album, a number of companies, including Olive Garden and United Airlines, started sharing orange-colored memes on their own social media pages. Among them were Shake Shack, FedEx, Cinnabon, Walmart, Netflix, and Buffalo Wild Wings.

Swift’s new album was acknowledged on social media by over a dozen NHL teams, both north and south of the border.

Even X joined in, announcing that it had a sparkly orange X as its new profile picture. To date, the post has received 5.5 million views.

Google is celebrating the October release of Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl by utilizing its search engine.A stream of orange digital confetti, a fiery orange heart, and the words “And, baby, that’s show business for you” appear when users search for Taylor Swift.

It appeared that many realized the benefit of linking Swift to their business.

Swift revealed that she got Lasik eye surgery on the Wednesday podcast. The chance namedrop was quickly promoted by the LASIK.com X account.

They shared a video of Swift praising the treatment on the New Heights podcast along with the caption, “I got LASIK, I have incredible vision.” TAYLOR SWIFT EVERYONE (emoji of a red heart). WE HAVE A PEEK!!!!!!
