After winning five straight games this season, the Fever have suddenly dropped to seventh place in the league rankings after losing four of their last five games. The Sun defeated the Chicago Sky on Wednesday to end a five-game losing streak, but they are still at the bottom of the league with a 6-26 record.
In the three prior games between these teams, Indiana has prevailed twice, most recently an 85-77 victory in Boston’s TD Garden about a month ago. Tina Charles scored a game-high 21 points for the Sun, while Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 20 points in the victory. Caitlin Clark played in that game but will be out again on Sunday owing to an injury.
